When Can I Have Care?
Home WHEN CAN I HAVE CARE
At In Home Care we work with you, your family and your loved ones to provide the reassuring care you deserve. But we don’t just help those who are sick. Our carers can also help with small jobs around the house, run errands or provide
companionship on a day out or shopping trip.
Whether you’re sick, disabled or looking for somebody to share a cup of tea with over a game of cards, you
can put your trust in In Home Care to be there for you.
When can I have care at home?
The great thing about the service we provide is you don’t have to wait to be picked up and taken to a centre to have your needs met. Care is provided as and when you need it. So, whether you need it during the day or night, we offer:
If you only need as little as 30 minutes with one of our trained carers or 24/7 care round the clock, our home service is available to everyone from the age of 18 upwards.
This means we cater for adults with severe learning and physical disabilities too.

However, we have shorter packages too like respite, occasional care and holiday cover.
All our packages can be provided from one off to on-going. So, when contacting us all you’ll need to do is explain your needs and we’ll make sure you get the right care package for you.

What services do In Home Care provide?
If you’re unsure what all of the above entails, don’t worry. Below you’ll find in-depth explanations of everything we
do – making it easier for you to choose the care you need.
HOURLY CARE - MORNING, DAY AND EVENING
In Home Care provide care from 30 minutes to as many hours as you need between 7 am and 10 pm, 365 days a year.
We base the amount of time required on your care needs, both physical and emotional, as well as on your mobility.
For example: If you have mobility issues and need assistance with a daily wash and dress, this may require at least one to one and a half hours. However, if all you need is breakfast preparing and serving and your bed made this would likely be covered in 30 minutes.
Overnights - Awake or Asleep
In Home Care provides supportive cover during the night for those who suffer from serious illnesses such as Dementia.
We also have care workers who ‘sleep over’ and are on hand for those who don’t sleep well or need help to get to and from the toilet during the night.
Whatever you need we’re there to help.
Note: If you or your loved one needs an overnight ‘asleep’ care worker, a bed and bedroom will be required for our care worker. However, if you only need an ‘awake’ carer (one who will stay up through the night until morning), then a bed will not be necessary.
Live-in Care
Requiring permanent care doesn’t mean you or your loved one should have to go into residential care. Home really is where the heart is, and when taking the ‘Live-in Care’ package, it means precisely that – a carer who lives in your home.
This dedicated one-to-one care helps to build a trusting relationship and also offers companionship for those who can no longer get out and about as they once did.
This means our carer may help with:
The carers on our ‘Live-in’ care package work on a two-week rota – which means you’ll be cared for by two familiar faces.
Carers will need their own bedroom and TV with a break of two hours per day. They also require a minimum of eight hours of sleep per night.
Emergency Care
Things can take a turn for the worse very quickly. It might be a fall that triggers an illness or a sudden loss of confidence.
This is where In Home Care comes into its own because we can be there quickly to cover until your loved one arrives. Or we can arrange care within 48-hours.
How much do your
home care services cost?
Our prices are dependent on the amount of care needed.
Hourly care costs between £16 to £28 per hour, while Live-in care packages cost £1150 per week for a single person or £1400 for a couple. Overnight care costs £160 per night for ‘asleep’ care and £200 per night for ‘awake’ care.
However, rates do vary, so we’re happy to discuss what you need to offer you the best possible service.
We also take on Social Care packages too.
